Position:
International Product Manager
We seek an
International Product Manager to join our Marketing team to develop,
formulate and realise the product and marketing strategy for assigned
products throughout the lifecycle to support business unit objectives
and goals. The International Product Manager collaborates with Finance,
Engineering, Strategic Planning and our world-wide based sales offices
to assure successful launch of new products. This role reports to the
Director, Marketing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Build
knowledge and understanding of assigned products, technology,
customers, markets, and competition to rapidly become subject matter
expert
-
Identify new
market opportunities for products and product concepts
-
Prepare and
propose product market strategy to achieve strategic goals
-
Collaborate
with internal and/or external colleagues and partners to develop
product specifications that meet customer requirements
-
Plan and
execute new product launches
-
Create sales
tools, including white papers and product oriented positioning
documents, and marketing actions to capture and retain customers
-
Develop
pricing proposals
-
Assist
world-wide sales with their marketing and product management needs
and activities
-
Define channel
and sales strategy
-
Plan and
develop business targets and monitor performance
-
Manage
marketing mix throughout product lifecycle
-
Ability to
travel internationally up to 20% of the time
Key Qualifications:
-
Post
secondary university degree – BA or BSc
-
Possess
minimum five plus years of progressive product management
experience within fast paced high tech/manufacturing
environment, preferably in the field of application software and
digital graphics
-
Proven
experience with successful new product introductions and
launches
-
Experience
working with world-wide based sales and marketing organisations
considered an asset
-
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations
-
Advanced
skills using PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word
